Thanks and Wrapping Up: Electric Sky and the Wondering Woods

Our primary goal with this event is to foster the community of creatives at the intersection of art and technology in the Pacific Northwest – building collaborative relationships, developing best practices, engaging in life-long learning, and inspiring new innovation.  Our secondary goal is to share the art generated by the event with the public, and in particular with the small rural communities of the Skykomish River valley. The Garden Path in the Wondering Woods

We created a garden path made of reactive pavers as a part of our larger group installation, the Wondering Woods at Electric Sky (2017). As you stepped on the pavers, a pulse of light went down the garden path to show you the way. The garden path was an orienting piece in the Wondering Woods installation, both created by our art group. The goal was to explore what if the woods could see you and interact with you.
